Expanding Minds

Expanding Out provides educational workshops to students of all ages.

We lead workshops for students that focus on:

Introducing the concept of creative thinking as a tool for empowerment and problem solving
Experiential activities that illustrate creative concepts and emphasize the element of "play"
Encouraging self-reflection and support of others
Creative projects, driven by the students' ideas about how to make the world a better place.

Expanding Boundaries

An international cultural exchange program that brings together university students from around the globe to work on creative projects that include video, photography and live performance. The goals of this program are to spark the students’ curiosity about different worlds and expand their thinking about their own potential.

Expanding Out offers professional development workshops to staff from a variety of business sectors. Our workshops use Creative Thinking concepts to help staff reinvigorate their sense of purpose, motivation and productivity. We offer strategies to assist in identifying areas of burn out and to create a path forward that emphasizes original ideas and stronger team building.

University Workshops

David and Phoebe both teach Creative Thinking at Montclair State University, where they focus on foundational elements of the creative process and aim to inspire and mobilize students' perceptions about themselves and their own creative potential.

Expanding Communities

Expanding Out is committed to bringing ideas of creativity to the community. These workshops focus on all parts of the community, including libraries, schools, religious institutions and other civic organizations. Our goal for this program is to use concepts of Creative Thinking to engage, inspire and strengthen the bonds between community members.
